MARIA BOSTRÖM

MB-webb-poster.jpg

The exhibition "Fragments of Time" traces Maria Boström’s artistic journey from 2017 to 2023. Over these years, Maria has explored and refined her abstract expression, resulting in a collection of works that capture moments of transformation and introspection.

Rooted in Jakobstad, Finland, Maria Boström possesses a unique ability to channel energy and emotion through her art. Her work becomes a reflection of her inner world — of the signals and vibrations she receives from her surroundings.

In this exhibition, we encounter paintings that carry fragments of time and feeling.

Each piece is layered with emotion and quiet narratives, capturing the unpredictability of life and the ongoing process of change. Through engaging with these works, we are invited to confront ourselves — and to discover new dimensions of our own existence.

LUNDBERG-SANDHAGEN

Maria Boström was born in Jakobstad, Finland, and discovered her passion for art at an early age in the studio of her uncle, artist Bo Aurens.

After completing her studies at Västra Nyland’s Art Program in Karis, she embarked on a journey that would shape her artistic language, exploring multiple mediums and disciplines while building a foundation for her future practice.
