Amanda Hellsten

In the exhibition “I Used Myspace Back Then, You Know!”, Amanda Hellsten’s first solo show in Stockholm, we encounter an artist who turns every overlooked detail into a miniature revolution. Amanda takes everyday life and hurls it back at us—magnified, displaced, brimming with attitude. In her world, the sterile environment of the hospital acquires a personality, the clutter of a vanity table mutates into a burst of colour, and the monotony of a bus ride becomes a graphic chaos.
